- 1 FEBRUARY-31 MARCH 2012: exhibition of photographs made by participants of Jasmijn’s ethnographic study “Visualising the Invisible. Identity, Media and Migrant Women from Former Yugoslavia in the Netherlands”@IMAGINEIC Amsterdam. For the exhibition Jasmijn worked together with curator Frank van der Stok.
- 21-25 MARCH 2012: Jasmijn will participate in the SCMS Conference@Boston, presenting a paper about the new search interface for Media Researchers MeRDES, that she developed together with a.o. Marc Bron and Andrei Vishneushki of ISLA UvA
- SPRING 2012: Jasmijn is working as Visiting Scholar at the Comparitive Media Studies department of MIT, Boston MA
- AUGUST-OCTOBER 2012: exhibition “Mystiek”, paintings by Louis Van Gorp, O.L.V. Church Arendonk
